Although we are confident the rights of way exist, they aren't formally recorded anywhere and are held in trust in the minds of the people that use the footpaths. We need to ask the authority - in this case, Bucks County Council - to formally record them and register them on the definitive map. This map records every right of way in the county and once the paths are added to it they will be safe for the future. We've now formally asked Bucks Council to issue a Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO).
