Wire cutting in the Strawberry Plot

A couple of days ago someone vandalised the fence installed by the landowner in the Strawberry Plot wood. We hope and believe that it was nothing whatsoever to do with anyone that's helping our application to recognise the footpaths as existing rights of way. Cutting a fence that the landowner has the right to install is criminal and anti-social behaviour - as such completely at opposition with this campaign, its purpose and conduct.

The landowner has recently recognised our right to seek council action to record the pathways and modify the definitive map. We clearly disagree on several issues, however we do absolutely recognise their right to generally install fences on their land where these do not obstruct existing rights of way.

As a campaign centred round the local community, we would be delighted to have your support if you have used any of the routes around these fields in the past and would like to do so in the future.
